The race is on to develop a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. Government is pushing private industry to get it done as quickly as possible in the hopes it will help get things back to ‘normal’.

The real question is if/when a vaccine is developed will you take it? How many Americans (and others around the world) will refuse to take the vaccine?
President Trump has stated that he feels there will be a coronavirus COVID-19 vaccine by the end of the year.
A recent poll by Morning Consult says that 14% of Americans would refuse to take a COVID-19 vaccine while 65% said they would. 22% are unsure. Some polls suggest the number of people that will refuse to take the vaccine is much higher.
Other points from the poll..
- 79% percent of voters said they think a second wave of coronavirus cases is likely in the next year.
- Eight percent of Americans know someone personally who has died from the virus.
- 12% of Americans say they might not be able to pay for food if social distancing lasts another month.
