White House Releases Statement Calling on Congress to Investigate if ‘Executive Branch Investigative Powers were Abused in 2016’

White House press secretary, Sean Spicer announced today that they are asking Congress to investigate is the Obama administration abused their executive powers in 2016. This comes after President Trump sent out several Tweets Saturday morning accusing former President Obama and his people of wiretapping him prior to the election.

Statement by Sean Spicer

“Reports concerning potentially politically motivated investigations immediately ahead of the 2016 election are very troubling. President Trump is requesting that as part of their investigation into Russian activity, the congressional intelligence committees exercise their oversight authority to determine whether executive branch investigative powers were abused in 2016. Neither the White House nor the President will comment further until such oversight is conducted.”

As we have said before, the Democrats and media are literally at war with Trump and will do anything to get him to resign or be impeached. This is unprecedented in American history that a new President has been so viciously attacked and tried to be destroyed.

This is very dangerous for our country and should not be taken lightly by anyone who loves America and the Constitution. President Trump has no choice but to fight back as hard as possible. Communist tactics are at work by the left.
